KANCHAN

Kanchan was a popular actress of Bollywood during 90's who has also acted in Telugu,Tamil and Malayalam movies .She was born on April 17, 1970 in Mumbai.


Kanchan and Chandni acted in   'Sanam Bewafa' opposite Salman Khan  in 1991.  It was a super hit success at the box office.

 

 








In 1993 she acted as Mohan Lal's heroine in  Malayalam Film Gandharvam' which was directed by Sangeeth Sivan.
This romantic film packed with fun and adventure was a super hit at the box office.This is the only Malayalam film which she acted in her career.
'Kranthi Kshetra' was a Campus based action thriller of 1994 in which Mithun Chakraborty and Pooja Bhatt acted in main roles.
'Prema Pusthakam' was a Telugu film of 1994 and debutant  Ajith Kumar and Kanchan acted in main roles.The director Gollapudi Srinivas died before competion of this film and  the rest part was directed by his father Gillapudi Maruthi Rao.The film won Nandi award for Best Screen Writer which was none other than Maruthi Rao.
She acted along with Jagpathi Babu,Rambha and Soundarya in 1994 for the Telugu film 'Allari Premikudu'.
'Amaanat' was a film directed by Raj N.Sippy in 1994 in which Sanjay Dutt,Akshay Kumar, Heera Raj Gopal and Kanchan   acted in pivotal roles.
'Pandav' was another film of Akshay Kumar directed by Raj N.Sippy in 1995.Kanchan acted as the character 'Nisha Tiwari' in this film which was not a success at the box office.
She acted in the film 'Coolie No.1 along with Govinda and Karishma Kapoor.
